Nonreusable waste generated by intermediate treatment are landfilled at the landfill disposal site. At the site, things below are landfilled.
- residue of incineration residues
- sludge after dehydration treatment
- residue remaining construction waste
And, there is an advanced water treatment facility to purify the leachate generated from landfill, so this site is called "Managed final disposal site".

Each institution is managed by strict system exceeding the
standards set, so we ensure the safety of the residents of the surrounding environment and neighborhood.
To ensure the safety of local residents, we signed to environment conservation agreement with them.
For further trust, we open water treatment data and our facilities on regular basis.
A semi aerobic landfill system
Final disposal site has adopted a semi aerobic landfill.
Semi aerobic is to maintain the disposal (landfills) "aerobic" (containing oxygen state) by blowing air through water pipes (supply and exhaust pipes) from top to bottom of waste disposal sites.
This leads to early stabilization of landfill by promote aerobic decomposition of waste by microbes.
"Burning equipment for generated gas" will burn gas generated by decomposition and fermentation of waste from the supply and exhaust pipe. It reduces not only greenhouse gas but also accompanying odors. Adding to it, it is safe by the clock management eliminating the risk of ignition and other.

We adopted the system "double liner sheet and non-woven".
It's based on the joint statement "The order revising the part of instructions pertaining to the technical standards about waste and industrial waste disposal site",issued by Prime Minister's Office (now Cabinet Office) and Health and Welfare (now Ministry of Health) in June,2003.
Laying three non-woven fartic and two impermeable liners on treatment site before landfill to prevent seeping water from contaminating the ground and groundwater, we keep water safety by 5 layer water safety barrier.
The rain poured down in Final disposal site penetrates landfill layer, and become seeping water.
Seeping water is reserved without having to adjust the groundwater by seepage water impermeable sheets. And it is discharged into a river after treatment with the perfect advanced purifying system.
And, contaminated water seeping from landfill site is treated biochemically and physicochemically. We conserve natural environment and public waters.
In this final stage that people concern about the effects to nature, we commit to environmental conservation by concentrating our technology and responsibility on it.

Effluent is discharged into the flow Hirose. Therefore, we keep the amount below the standard and commit to environmental protection of the river Hirose.
Even the landfill operation is finished; the role of water treatment facilities does not end. The sewage treatment continues until an amount of contaminated water is below the standard. We continue to manage the landfill material.
According to the environmental policy "Protect global environment, Create a beautiful Japan", we continue to operate a water treatment facility even after the landfill treatment. This is our responsibility to the environment.
